Now for the Pinapple...
When the movie, "Pineapple Express" debuted , it sparked several rumors, and resulted in people claiming to have it simply to slap a popular name on their product. Of course those who are updated on cannabis culture would know that at that time, no such strain existed, and in fact the movie had completely and utterly made up Pineapple Express. But it would be cool if it was real right? well that's exactly what G-13 Labs thought! And so they added this new strain to their already impressive encyclopedia, and it can hold its own with many of G-13's heavyweight knockouts, such as the previously shown "Lemon X G-13 Haze" which is ranked among one of my top 5 favorite buds I have personally experienced! G-13 Labs keeps the parent strains of their Pineapple Express a secret, leading to some controversy and others believing that the name is still merely a gimmick. This could not be further from the truth. Pineapple Express is an Indica/Sativa blend, with a heavier Sativa feeling stone right behind and between the eyes. The smell of these nugs reek of funky funk and ripe pineapple, While the smoke is smooth and has a sweet citrus taste on the exhale (breathe out through your nose ladies and gentlemen ;). And although the mother and father plants are still unknown, there is some information we can use to explain why the Pineapple Express is just so dank. The Pineapple phenotype in cannabis first manifested in an extremely popular strain with an interesting history, known as "Cinderella 99" created by "The Bros. Grimm". For this obvious reason, almost all strains that have a pineapple taste or smell contain the famous Cinderella 99. This also explains the "funky funk" smell of the P.E that I mentioned earlier, for the fact that C-99 contains a phenotype that causes what is described as a sour pungent smell. This bud is excellent for those high-action/comedy times that you'll just never forget. If the Pineapple Express were to run a train through your town, my advice would be to jump on it!

Introducing That Good Ol' Mango...
A picture is worth a thousand trichomes.
Jeepers creepers! It's the Mango Creeper...or the Creepy Mango? No, its just Mango, but indeed is a well known name of creeper cannabis! The THC content is high in this young lady, along with the creeper status makes it a fun toke. Its obvious why this particular strain is so loved, and also won third place in the Indica Cup back in 2002. Great buds all start with excellent genetics. Mango is a cross between Afghani, and KC-Brains' carefully chosen KC-33 from their encyclopedia of seeds, both heavy indica strains producing very tall plants with buds that grow furiously (a strange trait for an indica), making this a likely bud to show up around your area. The nugs, once dried have an attractive appearance, with thick crystals easily seen with the naked eye. The buzz is clear making it a good choice for any time of the day, so whats the verdict on the Mango you ask? I fucks with it, and you should too ;)

Behold...The Great Goo-Berry.
The latest....
"Goo-Berry"
A very tasty/fruity-smelling/dusty strain that will always get the job done no matter what that job may be (unless that includes heavy machinery..). Only the best Chronic in VA...you guys know the drill. But seriously, down to the business- this is a great strain for anytime of the day in my opinion, which might be because I just love all chronic, but it definitely can put you to sleep if you're relaxing, or even have you all giggly like a little school girl if you and your hippie friends are off adventuring. Long in the short, try some of that Goo Berry. ASAP.
Some Recent Goodies from the Gang...
Golden Skunk
British Columbia has always been known for its primo cannabis, and BC Bud Depot's "Golden Skunk" is not an exception. At a first glance the nugs can look a bit brown, causing some less knowledgeable consumers to stray away assuming that they are getting stiffed. However it could not be further from the truth, for once the nugs are held in the light, Golden Skunk shows its true colors. The nugs are a gorgeous rusty red/orange color, with a heavy frost on the outside making it appear as if its been rolled in confection sugar. The buds smell is quite different from typical skunk strains and has less of a funk, yet more of a sweet aroma to it. The smokes flavor is a little more sweet, not the intense floral flavor that skunks are known for, although there is a hint of that. BC's Golden Skunk is a cross between Afghani (as all true skunks have an Afghani base), Acapulco Gold, and Columbian Gold. The result? A sativa dominant skunk (75S/25I) with an excellent stoney high that is also very social, and seems to taper on for quite a long time. This bud will not leave you quiet, If you want an excellent heady stone for talking it up with friends, then I would have to tell you to go for the Gold.Mendo Purps (Haze)

Just finished this off.
Mendo Purp Cont.
Mendo purps, what to say? Well first off California is well known for their famous purple buds such as "Grandaddy Purp", that have grown there naturally for years. "Mendo purps" or "The Purps" as it is also referred to, is a medicinal strain from Mendocino County, hence the "Mendo" in this strains name. This delicious 60S/40I split creates deep purple color on the foliage, and the nugs that are produced are fluffy, yet dense at the same time. Trichomes frost the nugs inside and out. The buds give off a very potent smell, cracking a nug can release a heavy aroma, so one should be careful when in public, even if kept in a plastic bag. The smoke is smooth, and tastes almost like butterscotch on the exhale. The high is excellent for any winding down and chilling time. It keeps you awake but definitely kicks in with the short term memory loss. This bud is excellent for forgetting the bad times, and letting the good ones roll.
